This is not as complex as the Charmes but it’s notably finer and should also age extremely well

On the palate brown spices abound

The delicious and energetic middle weight flavors possess plenty of minerality and solid midpalate density before culminating on the lingering finish that also displays a trace of dryness

A more elegant though still markedly earthy nose speaks of dark berries

Domaine Faiveley, Musigny Vintage:2015 This is not as complexModerately strong reduction flattens the underlying fruit today and all that can be discerned is the wood treatment. More interesting are the rich, velvety and fresh broad shouldered flavors that are at once seductive yet serious while delivering good if not truly distinguished depth and persistence. This is showing somewhat awkwardly though the underlying material seems to be of sufficient quality that my projected range is probably reasonable. (93
