There is noticeable volatile acidity to the overtly spicy mélange of red berries and subtly exotic nuances

The 2013 Brut Grand Cellier d'Or is ample and beautifully expansive on the palate

Much more open and exuberant than when I tasted it earlier this year

An intensely perfumed bouquet evokes ripe red/blue fruits

so on the right bank of the Vienne River

it’s a quality villages and worth considering

raspberry preserve and violet scents that unfold in the glass

yet it also has the requisite stuffing to repay up to a decade of aging
