The Hilt, Old Guard Chardonnay other_regions_italy(55% fruit from Sanford & Benedict vineyard and 45% from Solomon Hills vineyard), Pale gold. Musky, heady aromas of yellow plum, poached pear, lemon pith and iodine. Pliant and creamy in texture, with a restrained sweetness to its deep orchard and citrus fruit flavors. Noticeable oak on the palate but with lovely freshness too

and it still retains some of the typical wildflower fragrance which characterises this wine’s aromatic profile
