Six people from different social backgrounds take the elevator to check out from a hotel about to close in the Italian city of Bologna. All of them have to catch a train to different destinations from the central train station. But what looks like a normal morning of a hot summer will soon turn out to be a nightmare. While a tragedy unfolds outside, events inside the hotel put them to the test.
