Maroon Cushion - Fan Size:Small while hand-painted metallic gold detailsAs card carrying textile obsessives, we have been purchasing original gouache maquettes for both printed and woven fabrics for many years. Fan is inspired by one of our favourite examples a 1920s maquette for a beautiful woven fabric. For many years we wanted to reinterpret this maquette as a wall covering, but the design suggested texture, so taking a small section of the original maquette we recreated it in needlepoint using three different
